Why we are here

This blog is intended to be a source of accurate information and perspective on Rick Warren, the Purpose Driven movement, and the P.E.A.C.E. Plan. God is doing a remarkable work in our generation, and we pray this effort helps advance God's work through the ministry of Rick Warren, Saddleback Church, and the Purpose Driven Network.

We want to promote understanding of the Purpose Driven paradigm as a biblical approach to healthy, balanced church life that fulfills all God’s purposes for the Church and leads to both spiritual and numerical growth. We are committed to the P.E.A.C.E. Plan strategy of mobilizing all God’s people to attack the five “Global Goliaths” – spiritual emptiness, self-serving leadership, extreme poverty, pandemic disease, and poor education. We share the vision of a transformation of church and society that restores responsibility in people, credibility in churches, and civility in culture.

We also will provide accurate information related to rumors about Pastor Rick that occasionally circulate on the "Misinformation Superhighway." We hope our conversation is salted with the grace, truth, and compassion that ought to characterize people who take Jesus seriously and seek to live life his way.
